DAD

It is interesting that most states that have the DAD program, require the vehicles to be inspected every year. They also require a safety inspection every year. These States are not centerilized programs. The states that are centerilized are every two years. So, it might be an indication that the state is moving this program one step closure to a centerlized system by not adpoting the annuel inspection. Most states that have the DAD and safety inspection have a fixed price at 29.00.

If the prices drop to low, the only way to survive would be to have them done every year. Obviously other states are smart enough to realize this, but not California. It also appears the states that do them every year have no rolling exemption. All year vehicles get a annual inspection.
