It is worth it if you want to keep doing stardirected vehicles . If you can keep your shop above water for six months then don't fight it , but if you depend on stardirected vehicles like I did , then you should def intitely appeal it .

You said 6 months after that period do They give it back to you if you meet their standards I also do repairs which I like more than smog but smog is good when repairs are slow Thank You for your response.

Was it your SVFR ? I know a few that have appealed and are still waiting in the meantime they still have star .

If it was gear selection, you can use RPM, MPH, and MMY to prove which gear you were in or how 2nd gear will not work for a given speed and RPM.

We had this happen, my bosses dad is a good lawyer, wrote the bar a letter, back in business. Follow Justa's advise hopefully you will be fine hopefully :)

Last weeks BAR BAG meeting the guy stated about 40% of STAR appeals
go in favor of the shop/tech. If taken to an Administrative Judge, those appeals
are likely to be in favor of the BAR.
BTW, there is a back log of STAR appeals. That is direct from attorney William Ferreira
in Francisco. Automotive Defense Specialist, 415-392-2886. Expect an Big Retainer $$$$ amount.
